Burnie Burns, Gus Sorola, Matt Hullum, Jason Saldana and Kathleen Zuelch.The hapless Red and Blue armies are back. No longer defending a worthless patch of soil from each other they cooperate (well sort of) to fight against an AI with a bad dose of megalomania (O'Malley).
An unfortunate bomb explosion sends some of the team hurtling forward in time to the future - a place where everything is "shiny". (These sections are recorded inside the new Halo 2 engine.) Church, however, is sent backward in time, to the low polygon world of Bungie's Marathon.
The story follows Church as he tries to fix things in the past so that the bomb never goes off and the adventures of the rest of the characters as they try to find their way back to Blood Gulch as well as their attempts to stop O'Malley.
