In the Hands of the Gods
In celebration of the Homeless World Cup's arrival in Melbourne, we celebrate the culture of the round ball with free film screenings and a special performance event.

From around the world they come, and in streets across the globe they play. Whether it's a form of emancipation or self discovery, the links are strong.

These two excellent films explore the inner and outer worlds that draw young and old to the sport, and a very special performance event by The Big Issue vendors and their friends explores the cultures that inspire and encourage us in our darkest hours.

The 2008 Homeless World Cup runs from 1 - 7 December at Federation Square.
