| Monster X Strikes Back - Attack the G8 Summit |
In 1967, Shochiku produced
Monster X from Outer Space, known as
Guilala in Japan. Forty years on, director Minoru Kawasaki brings the cult monster back with the modern day twist.
On July 7th, 2008, at Lake Toya in Hokkaido, Japan, the G8 Summit is being held by the eight leaders of the world in the international conference hall by the lake. Meanwhile, China's Mars Probe crashes into the nearby Sapporo city. The monster "Guilala" appears from the crash site, and destroys the city of Sapporo spitting out fireballs.
