The 'memory of water' is a term taken from homeopathy that expresses the idea that water is somehow affected by substances dissolved in it, even though the solutions used in treatments are extremely dilute.

Sadia Sadia's video explores the relationship between the drop and the ocean in terms of human experience. While the camera is trained in close up on their eyes, a series of people answer the question, "What is your most significant memory?" Their spoken responses drift towards us, carried by a wave of ambient sound, "the birth of my daughter.. finding my father.. becoming engaged."
