Thai filmmaker Ing K and her star, Human Rights activist Kraisak Choonhavan, discuss their film about unrest in the deep Islamic South and the resurgence of Thai nationalism in a time of crisis.
The film's production coincided with the last four intense months of the Thaksin government. Film clips include scenes of the street celebrations following the military coup that toppled the democratically elected yet oppressive prime minister.
