seniors' cinema program starts this week

chicago
The Australian Centre for the Moving Image, in conjunction with the Department of Human Services, presents an ongoing program of classic and modern films aimed at discerning seniors. The program features an eclectic range of films from Australia and far flung corners of the world: Tibet, Iran, France, US, UK and Hungary. Among the highlights are current releases The Hours and Chicago. Audiences will also have the opportunity to see some popular films from recent years on the big screen again.

Featuring 19 different films, ACMI Seniors' Cinema program offers you exotic foreign locations, romance, drama, and intrigue from the luxury of a (comfort-enhanced) cinema armchair.

All tickets for seniors (55+) are $4, but even if you're not a senior you can still come along to any session.

The following prices apply: Adult $11, Student & Concession $9, Child $7, Primary Care Givers $4.
