ACMI is pleased to announce the winners of
Screen It! 2005 - The national moving image competition for Primary Schools.
In the spirit of the Commonwealth Games 2006, the theme of Screen It! 2005 was
Playing Games. All Australian primary school students were invited to create a moving image work that responded to this theme in the categories of video games, animation and live action.

Category 1: Video Game Winner: Jared Christensen, Kalinda Primary, Vic Super Soccer! is a game designed to test your skills and reflexes through 19 levels. more |

Category 2: Animation Winner: Shannon Davidson, Distance Education Centre, Vic I'll Be Me is a story about a girl learning Taekwondo, and about continuing to try when things inevitably go wrong. watch movie |

Category 3: Live Action Winner: Class 5G, Holy Spirit Primary, NSW. In Commonwealth Games 2005?, an over-zealous TV crew sets out to host the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, except they're eight months too early! watch movie |
The winners of each of the categories received a cash prizes of $500, with highly commended works receiving prizes from the Lego Education Centre and THQ.
Screen It! 2005 FinalistsThe works of all the winners and finalists are screening at ACMI in the Memory Grid throughout March.
