Moulin Rouge
Would-be poet Christian (Ewan McGregor) falls for the beautiful courtesan Satine (Nicole Kidman) whom a jealous Duke (Richard Roxburgh) covets in Baz Luhrmann's stylish musical.

Constructed with the melodrama of a 19th century opera, the technicolor brashness of a 1950s Hollywood musical and the quick-cutting frenzy of a music video clip, Moulin Rouge is gaudy, grandiose, and wildly entertaining.

Abandon yourself to a heady mix of song, dance, spectacular production numbers, protestations of love, exhalations of regret, vows of revenge and grand destructive gestures.and, above all, absinthe-soaked decadence.
