| The Loves of Carmen |
In this technicolour marvel, based on the Georges Bizet opera, Carmen (Rita Hayworth) lures an innocent soldier (Glen Ford) into her clutches and toward his ruin.
Dancing, singing and castanetting her way across the screen, Hayworth is electric as the feisty, man-eating gypsy Carmen.
Flaunting a different costume in each scene, she tackles everything from catfights to shoot outs with expertly groomed mane, sumptuous lipstick and of course, heels fit for a movie premiere. Likewise, Ford is fantastic as the tortured Don Jose who is captivated by the bewitching Carmen.
Right down to the final tragic scene, this is Hollywood magic at its very best. Imported Print!
