shadows bring monsters to life
Over two Saturday afternoons earlier this month, we invited you to journey into a world where shadows and monsters came to life.
The Shadows & Monsters workshop gave participants the chance to explore, through their own work, the concepts behind our recent Eyes, Lies & Illusions exhibition.
Using simple materials such as a sheet and other objects from around the home, along with a light source, artist John Paul Fischbach taught participants how to make shadow puppets.
As seen in the photos, the workshop was a great success with many scary and suitably shadowy characters created.
