Dream of Life is a richly layered portrait of the legendary poet, artist, musician and activist Patti Smith, shot over a remarkable eleven-year period by renowned fashion photographer Steven Sebring.
Smith narrates the film, which incorporates performances, pilgrimages and political rallies, archival recordings and verité footage of Smith's parents, children and friends.
