Inspired by 1,001 statues of the Buddha at a Japanese temple, this work pits the multiple faces of crime against the notions of Karma, impermanence and acceptance.
Senju-Kannon Buddha Bot No. 1 reflects both the evolution of technology and the work of the artist by utilising many items from his work over the last twenty-one years. The robot is made from collected pieces of technology and commercial products that John's company has developed such as facial composite software used by law enforcement agencies.
