Playwright and theatre director Phyllis Nagy's debut feature explores the lurid 1980s murder scandal that saw the headmistress of a posh girls' school shoot and kill her lover of 15 years - the world-renowned cardiologist who created the Scarsdale Diet.
Brimming with humour and idiosyncratic rhythm, the film follows the tangled lead up to one of the trials of the century. Drugs, money, sex and gunplay abound among the upper elite of Westchester society.
Stars Annette Bening as Mrs Harris and Ben Kingsley as Dr Herman 'Hy' Tarnowner. Also features Cloris Leachman and Chloë Sevigny. This opening night film is an invitation only event. The first 25 patrons to purchase a six session pass will receive double admission to this session.
