The third instalment in Gatlif's Gypsy trilogy explores the interplay between a Romany community and a Gadjo (non-Roma) when a young Parisian rolls into town in search of a mysterious singer.
Stephane (Romain Duris) embarks on a quest to Romania, living amongst a community of Gypsies where he finds companionship with an elderly musician Izidor (Isidor Serban) and love with the sensuous, Sabina (Rona Hartner).
