Silma's School
An Anglo Australian convert to Islam, Silma Ihram established a school to educate the next generation of Muslim Australians. Her dream sours when she discovers her 750 pupils are sitting on contaminated land.

Jane Jeffes' documentary follows Silma as she engages in a battle to save the school and ensure her family's own economic survival.

Silma's School is a portrait of an inspirational and passionately committed woman, mother and wife, and offers a rare insight into the Muslim community living in Sydney's West.

Includes Q&A with Jane Jeffes and Silma Ihram.
