Gonzalo Frasca is a videogame researcher and developer, currently working at the Center for Computer Games Research at the IT University in Copenhagen. He has written extensively about videogame design with research work focusing on videogame rhetorics, advergaming, political and educational games. He leads the group behind Newsgaming.com and is a co-founder and senior producer at Powerful Robot Games, a videogame development studio focusing on advergaming and webgames.
Frasca publishes Ludology.org, one of the 'hip places for a new generation of media philosophers' according to MSNBC, and co-publishes WaterCoolerGames.org, an online resource about persuasive games. Frasca is also currently one of the Editors at Game Studies, the international journal of computer game research.
