This masterfully crafted, contemporary mystery-thriller from France is a compelling parable about post-September 11 urban fear and Islamic terrorism.
After 10 years and two children together, Philippe and Marion finally decide to take a long-earned and overdue honeymoon vacation in Venice. At the train station, however, they discover a valise filled with money, abandoned by a courtly, middle-aged gentleman of Arab origin, with whom Marion had earlier inadvertently struck up a conversation.
Unsettled by the event, Philippe and Marion postpone their trip and stay in Paris, but soon find that their lives have been forever changed by this chance discovery.
