developer
Pistachio Productions is dedicated to creating games of entertainment and innovation. The company was established in the spring of 2004 by its four founding members: John Edwards, Christopher Goiney, Justin Kim, and Stuart Young. Pistachio Productions is headquartered in Shoreline, WA. Many of Pistachio's members hail from the Shoreline area, and graduated from Shorewood High School. Their base of operations is John Edwards' house. They plan on utilising this facility for the foreseeable future.

Pistachio's first official release, Mutton Mayhem, debuted at LANbrary 2004. It was in development for five months, and development continued sporadically until it was submitted to the Independent Games Festival student competition in November 2004. The game was one of ten selected as winners of the student division of the competition. Development on the company's second game, Ocular Ink, began in July of 2004. Version 0.9 was released in September of 2005, and was named a winner of the 2006 IGF Student Showcase.Though school and life often interfere, Pistachio continues to work on Ocular Ink.
