miaf secures 2002 grand prix winner for festival
My Beautiful Girl
After lengthy negotiations, the Melbourne International Animation Festival (MIAF) today secured the Korean film My Beautiful Girl (Mari/ Mari Iyagi), which won the 2002 Grand Prix award for best feature at Annecy Animation Film Festival, the Cannes of the animation world. This sublime and beautiful debut feature is sure to be one of the highlights of the Melbourne International Animation Festival which runs from 24-29 June at ACMI.
