Game On hits a high score
Notching up high scores faster than a 40 year-old reliving their youth on Pacman, Melbourne's hottest winter blockbuster exhibition, Game On, chalked up it's 100,000th visitor on the weekend, and with the school holidays just kicking off, the score is set to soar even higher.

From the retro-futurism of Tron to the vivid landscapes of Halo 3, Game On  is the world's largest ever exhibition dedicated to the past, present and future of video games, tracking the rapid development of the moving image's newest and most successful medium.

This overwhelmingly successful exhibition is the second staged at ACMI to attract more than 100,000 visitors. Pixar: 20 Years of Animation, part of Melbourne Winter Masterpieces in 2007, attracted a total visitation of over 165,000.

If you're one of the rare few who has yet to get up close and personal with Mario, Sonic, Pacman and Donkey Kong, get a move on, as Game On must close on July 13.
