Popcorn Taxi is a regular, independent film and video screening event which showcases great films and lets you get the inside story from the filmmakers who made them.
Screening independent feature films, animation, documentaries, music clips, television commercials and short films, on formats from VHS to 35mm film, Popcorn Taxi is a non-competitive event where all are welcome.
Popcorn Taxi plays host to high-profile film industry guest speakers from around the world, including (to date): Ewan McGregor, Baz Luhrmann, Susie Porter, Bryan Brown, Claudia Karvan, Geoffrey Rush, Bruce Beresford, Richard Franklin, Anthony Minghella, Kimble Rendall, Wim Wenders, Mike Figgis and many more.
