A five-day festival of films for discerning seniors, screening as part of the Victorian Seniors Festival. Highlights include elegant period dramas Gosford Park and The Importance of Being Earnest, an international focus on films from Asia and Europe, a tribute screening of
Spider & Rose, starring Australian stage and screen legend Ruth Cracknell, and a program of films that celebrate musical forms. The program also includes a special Melbourne Queer Film Festival co-presentation of the lavish biopic,
Wilde, based on the life of Oscar Wilde.
