Chunky Move is considered one of Australia's premier contemporary dance companies. The company's production C.O.R.R.U.P.T.E.D. 2, choreographed by Gideon Obarzanek, and performed in the 1998 Melbourne International Arts Festival, explores the context of Australian dance and its role in culture.
The Making Chunky Move project is a CD ROM/Web hybrid and a 24-minute documentary which includes a recording of the entire choreographic work. The CD ROM/Web Hybrid dissects sections of the production using unique motion capture 3D segments with 3D virtual reality section to provide an interactive experience enabling the user to "become the choreographer".
