The fifth and final feature by acclaimed Malaysian director Yasmin Ahmad, Talentime follows a group of students as they rehearse for an inter-school talent contest. In the lead up to the big night, emotions runs high, love blossoms and tragedy unfolds.
This year's festival is dedicated to the memory of Yasmin Ahmad, who died on 25 July 2009.
