Melbourne's film community is coming together to support the Victorian Bushfire Appeal.
A highlight at Cannes (Grand Prix winner) and the 2008 Melbourne International Film Festival, Matteo Garrone's award-winning drama Gomorrah will screen at ACMI on Saturday 7 March with all proceeds going to the Victorian Bushfire Appeal.
The feature will be introduced by Australian actor Nina Landis (City Homicide, The Hollowmen, MDA, Blackjack).
A package of short films from the Australian Film Television & Radio School will also screen.
This special fundraiser is being presented by the Melbourne Cinematheque, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) and ACMI, with the support of Madman Entertainment, Australian Film Television & Radio School (AFTRS), Victorian College of the Arts (VCA), Film Victoria, the Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF) and the Australian Film Institute (AFI).
