Love Serenade
Winner of the Camera D'Or at the 1996 Cannes Film Festival, Shirley Barrett's first feature is daring, bitingly funny and consistently surprising.

Following hilariously jaded playboy par excellence Ken (George Shevtsov) and the two sisters whose hearts he sets aflutter - virginal tomboy Dimity (Miranda Otto) and Vicki-Ann (Rebecca Frith), all pastel femininity - Love Serenade satirises archetypes and gender roles with amusing panache.

This clever, deadpan comedy remains one of the most audacious and underrated Australian films of the nineties.
