A Sting in the Tale
A rarity in Australian filmmaking: a political satire that packs serious punch, thanks to Patrick Edgeworth's screenplay and producers Rosa Colosimo and Reg McLean.

This fast-paced and tightly scripted work explores the possibility of Australia's first female Prime Minister and its impact on the male-dominated parliamentary system.

A panel discussion with cast, crew and AFCA members will follow the screening to explore the making of the film and the role of political satire in Australian cinema.
