The Book of the DeadThis gentle and beautiful Japanese stop-motion animation is based on a tale from the 8th century, in which a young noblewoman befriends the tormented ghost of a prince. Through their bond, the prince is finally able to find peace.
The director, Kihachiro Kawamoto, has dedicated the film to the innocent people who have died in recent wars.
