Collection
ACMI is home to a wide variety of moving image material - including 16mm and 35mm film prints, publicity photographs, film posters and unique objects. This material is a valuable screen culture resource for learning.
Visitors to ACMI are able to access the widest range of collection materials in the Australian Mediatheque, our on-site resource centre, operating 7 days a week in collaboration with the National Film and Sound Archive and a range of other content partners.
Limited borrowing from the collection is only available to existing borrower institutions, film societies, commercial organisations and persons living in regional Victoria. New memberships for access to the collection via this means are now closed.
