Rock Hudson's attempts to woo his voluptuous house guest (Lollobrigida, natch) are thrown into disarray when his villa is unexpectedly overrun with American teens and their chaperone. It's the champagne crowd versus the campus set as thirtysomething Rock Hudson outdrinks, outdances and outromances the upstart young college types led by Bobby Darin and Sandra Dee.
Darin and Dee met on set and married when filming wrapped (shooting on location on the Italian Riviera is likely to inspire that kind of unbridled optimism).
