Elizabeth Taylor sports some seriously dazzling bling in this handsomely produced romantic melodrama about a group of First Class passengers delayed in the VIP Lounge of a fog-bound Heathrow Airport awaiting the departure of a trans-Atlantic flight to New York.
A stellar international cast also features Richard Burton (fresh from the set of Cleopatra, who famously said of his wife-to-be "the only word Elizabeth knows in Italian is Bulgari"), Louis Jourdan, Maggie Smith, Rod Taylor, Orson Welles and Margaret Rutherford in her Oscar-winning Best Supporting Actress role as the dotty and marvellously ingenious Duchess of Brighton.
