Gloomy Valentine
Describing her work as 'stop-motion animation with a horror aesthetic', animator Isabel Peppard shares the gothic sensibility that is so potent in Tim Burton's work.
Isabel and her creative team will identify the characters, landscapes and stories that inhabit her stop-motion films, such as her fatal love odyssey Gloomy Valentine, and offer a sneak peek into her next animated project.
Isabel will also speak about some of her other macabre arts practices and her experiences working for Adam Elliot on Mary and Max and contemporary artist Patricia Piccinini.
Hosted by Richard Watts.
