Tim Burton Polaroids: ExperimentationAlthough most widely known as a feature filmmaker, Burton is also an accomplished artist, producing prolific numbers of artworks across various media. Between 1992 and 1999 he created a series of large-scale Polaroid prints as a personal project, exploring visual themes and motifs that also appear in his sketchbooks, drawings, sculptures and paintings. Using an oversized camera nicknamed 'Dr Seuss', Burton and his collaborators undertook photo shoots in his studio, as well as desert and countryside locations.
