Tim Burton Polaroids: PhotographerBurton's Polaroid works feature live models, fantastic objects he fashioned himself, plus puppets and props from films Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993) and Sleepy Hollow (1999). When removed from their cinematic context - altered and frozen in time - these familiar objects become menacing and slightly uncanny. The medium of photography is yet another creative outlet in which Burton reveals his distinctive personal artistic vision, evoking humour, fantasy and nightmare.
