Cam Butler (Ron S. Peno & The Superstitions, etc) is a Melbourne-based composer and guitarist. Join us for a unique presentation of his new album, Save My Soul.
Cam wanted to write an album that was gentle and uncomplicated but still passionate and emotionally gripping. The music of Save My Soul is completely unique and deceptively simple, carrying many layers of deep emotion and lush beauty.
To present the album live, Cam has asked a number of international film makers, hailing from Melbourne, Berlin and Kabul, to make a video to accompany each of the five tracks on the album.
Cam's music has often been described as cinematic, and the combination of each of these directors' visions with the music of Save My Soul is a truly immersive multimedia experience.
