A Tribute to Jacques Helleu
Total running time: 10 mins

Jacques Helleu, who died last year, was Chanel's artistic director and driving force behind the house's iconic fragrance ad campaigns for over forty years. In a world first, Chanel have kindly given ACMI permission to screen some of his most recognised commercials, including Catherine Deneuve's 1977 advertisement for the Chanel No 5 fragrance.

Helleu worked with many of the great names of world cinema, including Baz Luhrmann who directed Nicole Kidman in the latest Chanel No 5 advertisement and Joe Wright who not only directed Keira Knightly in his film Atonement, but also in last year's campaign for Coco Mademoiselle. Both of these will also screen.
