Designer extraordinaire Karl Lagerfeld gave director Rodolphe Marconi access to capture his everyday life on film for the very first time.
The result is an insightful snapshot of a creative powerhouse who has recently celebrated 25 years as Head of Design at Chanel whilst also managing to create collections for several other fashion houses, including his own.
Marconi shot over three hundred hours of footage over three years and discovered an intellectual insomniac with a love of literature, films and paintings.
