David Bailey: Four Beats to the Bar and No Cheating
One of the 'terrible trio' of British fashion photographers, David Bailey has done it all.
Bailey's work has graced the pages of
Vogue, he's friends with rock star Mick Jagger and has worked with many of the world's great models, including Jerry Hall and Jean Shrimpton.
He was the inspiration for Antonioni's
Blow-Up and has made several films of his own, including
Bailey on Beaton (both these films are screening in this season).
This new documentary takes stock of Bailey's incredible and enduring career, with interviews from former wife Catherine Deneuve, art critic Martin Harrison and current wife Catherine Dyer.
