Duffy: The Man Who Shot the 60s

Along with Terence Donovan and David Bailey, Brian Duffy completed the 'terrible trio' of in-your-face cockney fashion photographers who revolutionised fashion imagery in the 1960s.
This documentary, made just before Duffy's death, is a rare record of this great man's unconventional working life.
One of his favourite models, Joanna Lumley returns to restage an early work while Duffy reflects on his career at British
Vogue and his ground breaking images of David Bowie.
An exhibition of Duffy's portraits will be on show at the Sofitel during the L'Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival and a major retrospective of his work will be staged at the Monash Galley of Art at the end of March 2012.
