crime: more than pulp fiction?

Why is crime fiction one of the best-selling genres of all time? Are we interested in justice or retribution? Join the Australian Writers' Guild and the Victorian Writers' Centre to discuss crime fiction in a panel session featuring a best-selling novelist, a screenwriter and a coroner giving us the low-down on how far fiction is removed from reality.

Followed by a screening of the classic crime film and genuine gem of 1960s filmmaking, Point Blank starring Lee Marvin.
