ACMI is the Australian Centre for Excellence for Digital Storytelling.
Digital Storytelling originated in the USA over 10 years ago and ACMI is now part of an international network of digital storytellers initiated by the Centre for Digital Storytelling (CDS) based at Berkeley University in California, USA. Digital Storytelling continues to expand internationally and centres for excellence now exist in the UK, Europe, Canada, Japan and New Zealand.
