Between 1947 and 1957 while fabric was rationed in the wake of World War II, Paris was re-established as the capital of fashion by an unconventionally humble and soft spoken visionary.

This film explores the texture of a legendary designer's life revealing an artist of great contradictions and simple yet diverse inspirations. Filled with rare and fascinating archival footage, Philippe Lanfranchi's documentary won the Silver Medal at the 2005 New York Film Festival.

Screens with Christian Dior Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2009 (15 mins, Courtesy Dior). The latest collection from the genius that is John Galliano. When questioned about his collection in these uncertain times, Galliano remarked "There's a credit crunch, not a creative crunch. Of course, everyone is being more careful with their discretionary purchases. I am. But it's our job to make people dream, and to provide the value in quality, cut, and imagination."
