Cabaret

PG
Bob Fosse, 124 mins, USA, 1972.

Under the cynical gaze of the nameless Master of Ceremonies, Cabaret explores the descent of 1930s Berlin into fascism.

The lecture focuses on Cabaret's representation of a society in decline and its exploration of the different perspectives of a range of characters who are all, in their own way, outsiders.
