Machinima
This full day (4.5 hour) workshop introduces students to the craft of machinima - making movies using the visual and audio components of videogames.
Students will work in small teams to design characters, build sets and develop storylines using the videogame The Movies. This engaging session also includes a screening and discussion exploring the history and possibilities of machinima.
Student work will be compiled for teachers and students to take away for further viewing, analysis and enjoyment.
Levels: Years 9 and 10 (VELS Level 6)
