School Programs

A Question of Style and Meaning

This three-hour program focuses on the complex technical and aesthetic issues related to the creating of digital art forms, investigating the many and varied contexts, ideas and meaning in artworks.

The program uses both a lecture and educator-led exhibition tour to identify and review the issues, legal obligations and ethical considerations that may arise from the use of other artists' work in the making of new artwork, including appropriation and originality, copyright law, licensing agreements and the moral rights of artists.
