Sitcom
The situation comedy - or sitcom - is one of the few genres to have survived from the earliest days of television due to its ability to engage with the mood and social climate of the times.
Through a presentation of clips and commentary, this 90-minute program will explore the sitcom as a chronicle of changing values, with a particular emphasis on evolving attitudes toward gender roles, teenagers and the family.
