The mockumentary form appeals to media savvy audiences who delight in the unpicking and parodying of familiar conventions. This 90-minute session of clips and commentary focuses on Chris Lilley's television series Summer Heights High (Princess Pictures/ABC, 2007) in order to explore the construction of genre.
The aim of this program is to guide students in the interpretation and analysis of television texts.
