This delightful and fast-paced five-minute event captures some cinema's great nostalgic moments. Acclaimed shadow theatre performer Lynne Kent teams up with video artist Marika Sosnowski to perform a work that extends cinematic effect to live performance.
This magical dance piece is intricately choreographed to give the illlusion that the performer is interacting with screen legends including Fred Astaire, John Travolta, Darth Vader and even the Wicked Witch of the West.
Lynne Kent is a shadow and visual theatre artist and puppeteer. Lynne has worked for various companies in and around Australia including Terrapin Theatre, Kite Theatre and Melbourne Women's Circus, and has been invited to perform her work at many international festivals.
