The clothes we wear, the mobile phones we use and even the chocolate we eat all have one thing in common: they likely exploit child labour. Director Shraysi Tandon crosses the globe to expose the dangerous and deplorable conditions under which the world’s estimated 200 million child labourers are forced to work, where children as young as 6 work without protective gear or labour rights. Featuring interviews with human rights activists and tense on-camera confrontations with representatives from some of the world’s leading brands, Invisible Hands is an unflinching confrontation of an uncomfortable truth.
