In this one-day program, our film and literature experts share ideas about interpreting, comparing and teaching The Queen and Ransom.

The morning includes a screening of The Queen (Stephen Frears, 2006) and a lecture focusing on ideas and themes in the paired texts, along with formal and stylistic elements. In the afternoon, we introduce strategies for teaching The Queen and Ransom.

Our program includes teaching resources, morning tea and lunch.
